Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released notification for recruitment of Senior Grade II Teachers/Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) in schools of Rajasthan. Here in this blog, I have explained all the necessary details related to this recruitment notification.

A total of 2129 vacancies have been notified, which are distributed as follows:
(i) Hindi: 288 vacancies
(ii) English: 327 vacancies
(iii) Maths: 694 vacancies
(iv) Science: 350 vacancies
(v) Social Science: 88 vacancies
(vi) Sanskrit: 309 vacancies
(vii) Punjabi: 64 vacancies
(viii) Urdu: 09 vacancies

Are Other State Candidates Eligible?
Yes Other State Candidates can fill this form. But remember, other states candidates will always be considered as General (Unreserved) Candidates.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (as on 24/01/2025):
A. For TGT (Hindi, English, Maths, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Urdu):
(i) Bachelor Degree with the concerned subject as an optional subject
(ii) Degree/Diploma in Education (BEd / DELEd)

B. For TGT (Science):
(i) Bachelor Degree with any two of the following as optional subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology.
(ii) Degree/Diploma in Education (BEd / DELEd)

C. For TGT (Social Science):
(i) Bachelor Degree with any two of the following as optional subjects: History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration and Philosophy.
(ii) Degree/Diploma in Education (BEd / DELEd)

AGE LIMIT (as on 01/01/2026):
• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 40 years
• Age relaxation in the Upper Age Limit will be provided to:
1. Persons with Disability: 05 years (category wise)
2. Female Candidates of General Category/Other State: 05 years
3. Male candidates of BC/OBC/SC/ST/EWS of Rajasthan State: 05 years
4. Female candidates of BC/OBC/SC/ST/EWS of Rajasthan State: 10 years
5. Widows and Divorced Women: No Upper Age Limit.
6. Ex-servicemen: 10 years (not to exceed 50 years age).

ATTEMPT LIMIT:
There are no restrictions on the number of attempts. You can give unlimited attempts till your upper age limit.

SALARY:
• Level: 11 (Rajasthan Pay Matrix)
• Pay Band: 9300-34800
• Grade Pay: 4200
• Basic Pay: ₹37800
• Dearness Allowance: 50%
• Other Allowances: HRA, TA, etc
• Deductions: NPS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, Insurance, etc.
• Gross Salary: ₹60,500 approx.
• NET (In-hand) Salary: ₹52,100 approx.

SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection to the service will be done through merit list prepared on the basis of "Written Test".
The Written Test will be conducted in a single day, and will have two papers:
A. PAPER-I:
• Paper will include the following subjects:
(i) General Knowledge of Rajasthan
(ii) Current Affairs of Rajasthan
(iii) General Knowledge of World and India
(iv) Educational Psychology
• Total: 100 questions
• Total Marks: 200 marks
• Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes)
• Negative Marking: One-third
• Qualifying Marks: 40% (5% relaxation for SC/ST)

B. PAPER-II:
• Paper will include the following subjects:
(i) Knowledge of the Subject Matter (of Secondary & Senior Secondary Standard)
(ii) Knowledge of the Subject Matter (of Graduation Standard)
(iii) Teaching Methods of Relevant Subject
• Total: 150 questions
• Total Marks: 300 marks
• Duration: 2.5 hours (150 minutes)
• Negative Marking: One-third
• Qualifying Marks: 40% (5% relaxation for SC/ST)
