One of those examinations is the much-awaited Regional Rural Bank (RRB) recruitment. But, What is RRB? Regional Rural Banks (RRB) are government owned banks operational at regional levels in different states of India. They will be seen only in their region, and provide banking facilities in the villages and the remotest part of that region. These banks are sponsored by any one national bank, and have shares of both state and central government. Share of the central government is 50%, the sponsored bank is 35% and the state government is 15%. So it is 50:35:15 .
