EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (as on 10/02/2025):
(i) Master Degree with 55% Marks in Related Subject
(ii) NET/SLET/SET or, PhD
AGE LIMIT (as on 01/07/2025):
• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 40 years
• Age relaxation in the Upper Age Limit will be provided to:
(i) Persons with Disability: 05 years (category wise)
(ii) Female Candidates of General Category/Other State: 05 years
(iii) Male candidates of BC/OBC/SC/ST/EWS of Rajasthan State: 05 years
(iv) Female candidates of BC/OBC/SC/ST/EWS of Rajasthan State: 10 years
(v) Widows and Divorced Women: No Upper Age Limit.
(vi) Ex-servicemen: 10 years (not to exceed 50 years age)
ATTEMPT LIMIT:
There are no restrictions on the number of attempts. You can give unlimited attempts till your upper age limit.
SALARY:
• Pay Level: Academic Level 10 (AL10)
• Pay Band: 15600-39100
• Grade Pay: 6000
• Basic Pay: ₹57,700
• Dearness Allowance: 50%
• Other Allowances: HRA, TA, etc
• Deductions: NPS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, Insurance, etc.
• Gross Salary: ₹96,000 approx.
• NET (In-hand) Salary: ₹80,500 approx.
SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection to the service will be done in two stages:
A. Written Test
B. Interview
A. WRITTEN TEST:
The Written Test will be conducted in a single day, and will have three papers:
1. PAPER-I: Subject Matter: 75 marks (3 hours)
2. PAPER-II: Subject Matter: 75 marks (3 hours)
3. PAPER-III: General Studies of Rajasthan: 50 marks (2 hours)
• Total Marks = 75 + 75 + 50 = 200 marks
• Qualifying Marks: 40% (5% relaxation for SC/ST)
• Ratio of shortlisting for the Interview: 1:3 (Three times the vacancy)
B. INTERVIEW:
• In this stage, your subject understanding and personality will be tested, to see whether you are fit for the post or not.
• Interview will be of 24 marks.
FINAL SELECTION:
Final Selection will be done on the basis of marks scored in both Written Exam and Interview.
GRAND TOTAL: 200 + 24 = 224 marks
