A total of 2041 vacancies have been advertised in this notification, which is distributed as follows:
(i) Non Tribal Sub Plan (Non-TSP) Area: 1820

(ii) Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) Area: 221
(UR: 111, SC: 11, ST: 99)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (as on 13/06/2025):
(i) Passed 10+2 from a recognised board with any of the following subject groups - Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Agriculture and Agriculture Biology/Biology and Physics/Chemistry/Agriculture Chemistry; AND,
(ii) One year Training Certificate, OR, Two Year Training Certificate/Diploma of Livestock Assistant from an institution recognised by Rajasthan Government.

AGE LIMIT (as on 01/01/2026):
• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 40 years
• Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to:
(i) Persons with Disability: 05 years (category wise)
(ii) Female Candidates of General Category/Other State: 05 years
(iii) Male candidates of BC/OBC/SC/ST/EWS of Rajasthan State: 05 years
(iv) Female candidates of BC/OBC/SC/ST/EWS of Rajasthan State: 10 years
(v) Widows and Divorced Women: No Upper Age Limit.
(vi) Ex-servicemen: 10 years (not to exceed 50 years of age).

SALARY:
• Level: 8 (Rajasthan Pay Matrix)
• Pay Band: 5200-20200
• Grade Pay: 2800
• Basic Pay: ₹26,300
• Dearness Allowance: 50%
• Other Allowances: HRA, TA, etc
• Deductions: NPS, Professional Tax, Insurance, etc.
• Gross Salary: ₹45,000 approx.

SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection to the service will be done through the merit list prepared on the basis of the "Computer Based Test (CBT)".
The CBT Test will be conducted in a single day, and will have the following format:
(i) Part-A: General Awareness of Rajasthan, Everyday Science, Computer Knowledge & Current Affairs: 50 questions
(ii) Part-B: Veterinary Science: 100 questions
• Each question is of +1 marks
• Total: 150 questions (150 marks)
• Total Time: 03 hours
• Negative Marking: One-third (-0.33 marks)
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40%
