• Generally, Age Limit in Level-1 (Group-D) is as follows:
(i) Minimum: 18 years
(ii) Maximum: 33 years
• Only for this Recruitment, a one time age relaxation of 3 years has been given, and so the Age Limit is as follows:
(i) Minimum: 18 years
(ii) Maximum: 36 years
AGE RELAXATION IN UPPER AGE LIMIT:

SALARY:

SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection to the service will be done in four stages:
(i) Computer Based Tests (CBT)
(ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
(iii) Document Verification (DV)
(iv) Medical Examination (ME)
COMPUTER BASED TESTS (CBT):
This exam will contain questions from the following subjects:
(i) General Science: 25 questions
(ii) Mathematics: 25 questions
(iii) General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 questions
(iv) General Awareness & Current Affairs: 20 questions
• Each question is of +1 marks.
• TOTAL: 100 questions (100 marks)
• Total Time: 90 minutes (1.5 hours)
• Negative Marking: One-third (-0.33 marks)
• Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (30% for OBC-NCL/SC/ST).
PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST (PET):
A. For Male Candidates:
(i) Lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
(ii) Run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
B. For Female Candidates:
(i) Lift and carry 20 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
(ii) Run for a distance of 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
FINAL SELECTION:
After qualifying all the four stages, selection to the service will be done on the basis of the merit list prepared from marks scored in the Computer Based Test (CBT).
