The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is a 'Schedule-A' Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the ownership of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. Its primary responsibility is administration, upgradation and maintenance of civil aviation infrastructure in India.
Now, AAI has released notification for direct recruitment of Junior Executive (Fire Service/Human Resource/Official Language) in various airports across India. Here in this blog, I have explained all the details related to this recruitment notification.

VACANCY:
A total of 83 posts have been notified, which is distributed as follows:
1. Junior Executive (Fire Service): 13 vacancies
(UR: 05, EWS: 01, OBC: 04, SC: 02, ST: 01)
2. Junior Executive (Human Resource): 66 vacancies
(UR: 30, EWS: 06, OBC: 17, SC: 09, ST: 04)
3. Junior Executive (Official Language): 04 vacancies
(UR: 04, EWS: 00, OBC: 00, SC: 00, ST: 00)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (as on 18/03/2025):
1. Junior Executive (Fire Service):
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech) in Fire Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Automobile Engineering.
2. Junior Executive (Human Resource):
Graduate and MBA or equivalent (2 years duration) with specialization in HRM/HRD/PM&IR/Labour Welfare.
3. Junior Executive (Official Language):
(i) Post-Graduation in Hindi or in English with English or Hindi respectively as a Subject at Degree Level or Post-Graduation in any other subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subject at Degree Level; AND,
(ii) Two years relevant experience in Translation from English to Hindi and Hindi to English preferably of Technical or Scientific literature.
AGE LIMIT (as on 18/03/2025):
• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 27 years
• Age relaxation will be given to:
(i) OBC-NCL: 03 years
(ii) SC/ST: 05 years
(iii) Ex-servicemen: 3 years (after deducting no. of years of military service)
(iv) Candidates in regular service of AAI (UR/EWS): 10 years
(v) Candidates in regular service of AAI (OBC-NCL): 13 years
(vi) Candidates in regular service of AAI (SC/ST): 15 years
(vii) Ex-Agniveers: 03 years (05 years for 1st batch).
(viii) Widowed/Divorced Women (UR/EWS): up to 35 years
(ix) Widowed/Divorced Women (OBC-NCL): up to 38 years
(x) Widowed/Divorced Women (SC/ST): up to 40 years
SALARY:
• Group: Group-B
• Pay Level: E-1 level
• Pay Scale: ₹40000-3%-140000 (IDA)
• Basic Pay: ₹40,000
• Benefits: DA, Perks @ 35% of Basic pay, HRA, CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, Medical benefits etc.
• Gross Annual CTC: ₹18 lakhs approx.
SERVICE BOND:
• Only for Junior Executive (Fire Service).
• BOND AMOUNT: ₹5,00,000
• BOND PERIOD: Three (03) years (after Training).
SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection to the service will be done in two/three stages:
(i) Written Exam (Computer Based Test)
(ii) Documents Verification
(iii) Physical Test (only for Fire Service).
WRITTEN EXAM (COMPUTER BASED TEST):
• It will have two parts:
(a) Part-A: 50% questions on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General Aptitude, English etc.
(b) Part-B: 50% questions on subjects relating to educational qualifications prescribed for the posts.
• Total Marks: 120
• Duration: Two (2) hours
• There will be no any Negative Marking.
• Minimum pass marks:
(i) 50% for UR/EWS/OBC candidates.
(ii) 40% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
PHYSICAL TEST:
• It will be conducted after Document Verification (DV), only for the Fire Services.
• Candidates applying for HR & Official Language are exempted from this Physical Test.
• It will contain the following stages:
1. Physical Measurement Test/Medical Test.
2. Driving Test (in Light Motor Vehicle).
3. Physical Endurance Test (PET).
• In this Physical Test, the first two stages are only qualifying in nature. But the PET stage will also be counted for making the merit list (along with CBT marks).
• Physical Endurance Test (PET) will contain the following tests:
(i) 100 m Running
(ii) Casualty Carrying Test (Lifting and carrying sand bag to 50 meters).
(iii) Pole Climbing
(iv) Rope Climbing
(v) Ladder Climbing and descending.
• Each test carries a maximum of 20 marks. So overall, PET is of maximum 100 marks.
• To qualify PET, only one chance will be given. No any second chance will be given to any candidate.
FINAL SELECTION:
1. For HR & Official Language:
Final Selection to the service will be done on the basis of marks scored in the Written Test (CBT) only.
2. For Fire Services:
Final Selection to the service will be done on the basis of marks scored in the Written Test (CBT) and Physical Endurance Test (PET).
