All the posts of this group will have the same exam pattern & merit list, based on which you'll be shortlisted according to your marks and post preference.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (as on 31/01/2025):
1. For Private Secretary:
(i) Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a UGC recognised University/Institution; AND,
(ii) Knowledge of English/Hindi Stenography & Shorthand speed of atleast 120 wpm.

2. For Personal Assistant:
(i) Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a UGC recognised University/Institution; AND,
(ii) Knowledge of English/Hindi Stenography & Shorthand speed of atleast 100 wpm.

3. For Junior Scale Steno (Hindi):
(i) 12th pass from a recognised board; AND,
(ii) Knowledge of English/Hindi Stenography & Shorthand speed of atleast 64 wpm in Hindi.

4. For Stenographer:
(i) 12th pass from a recognised board; AND,
(ii) Knowledge of English/Hindi Stenography & Shorthand speed of atleast 80 wpm.

5. For Stenographer Grade-III:
(i) Matriculation (10th) pass from a recognised board; AND,
(ii) Knowledge of English/Hindi Stenography & Shorthand speed of atleast 80 wpm.

AGE LIMIT (as on 31/01/2025):
• Minimum: 18 years
• Minimum: 21 years (only for Junior Steno Hindi)
• Maximum: 30 years (for Junior Steno Hindi, Personal Assistant & Private Secretary)

SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection to the service will be done in two stages: Computer Based Test (CBT) & Skill Test.
• Computer Based Test (CBT) will be of 90 minutes duration.
• It will have 100 questions (MCQs)
• Each correct answer will give you +4 marks
• Total Marks will be 400 marks
• These questions will be distributed as follows:
(i) General Knowledge & Aptitude: 25 questions
(ii) Domain Specific Knowledge: 75 questions
(iii) All these 100 questions will be mixed, and divided in five sections, each containing 20 questions, and each section will be of 18 minutes duration.
(iv) After completion of time of one section, the other section will come on your screen, and you can neither go back to the previous section nor to the next section, till completion of time of that section (18 minutes).
(v) Negative Marking: One-fourth (-1 marks)
(vi) Qualifying marks: 40% (35% for OBC, 30% for SC/ST/PH).

(i) General Mathematics

SKILL TEST:
1. For Private Secretary:

(i) Dictation: 7 Minutes at the rate of 120 wpm
(ii) Transcription: 45 minutes English or 60 minutes Hindi on a Computer.

2. For Personal Assistant:
(i) Dictation: 10 Minutes at the rate of 100 wpm
(ii) Transcription: 40 minutes English or 55 minutes Hindi on a Computer.

3. For Stenographer:
(i) Dictation: 10 Minutes at the rate of 80 wpm
(ii) Transcription: 50 minutes English or 65 minutes Hindi on a Computer.

4. For Junior Steno Hindi:
(i) Dictation: At the rate of 64 wpm
(ii) Transcription: At the rate of 11 wpm
(iii) Maximum Mistakes Allowed: 8%
