Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited (BSPHCL) has re-opened portals for new applications for various posts recruitment 2024. This step has been taken after increasing the vacancy, to provide another opportunity to students to apply for this exam.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
A. Technician Grade III:

(i) Must have passed matriculation (class 10th) from any recognised board; AND,
(ii) Must have 2 years ITI Certificate in Electrician Trade from any institution recognised by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), New Delhi/State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).

B. Junior Accounts Clerk:
Graduate in Commerce (BCom) from any UGC recognised university/institute.

C. Correspondence Clerk & Store Assistant:
Graduate in any discipline from any UGC recognised university/institute.

D. Junior Electrical Engineer (JEE - GTO):
Full Time 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognised college/institute.

E. Assistant Executive Engineer (GTO):
(i) Full Time 4 years Engineering Degree (BE/BTech/BSc. Engg.) in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics from an AICTE recognised university/institute, with minimum 60% marks for UR, 55% for BC/EBC, and 50% for SC/ST candidates; AND,
(ii) Valid GATE Score at the time of submission of online applications.

AGE LIMIT (as on 31/03/2024):
Minimum: 18 years (for Technician Grade III & JEE).
Minimum: 21 years (for all other posts).
Maximum: Different for different categories, as follows:
(i) UR: 37 years
(ii) Female (UR): 40 years
(iii) EBC: 40 years
(iv) BC: 40 years
(v) SC: 42 years
(vi) ST: 42 years
(vii) PH: 10 years extra relaxation in maximum age limit (category wise).

PROBATION PERIOD:
A. Technician Grade III:

(i) Probation period: 2 years
(ii) Consolidated Pay (for one year of probation): ₹9,200/month.
(After completing 1 year probation, you will start getting full salary in pay level-4).

B. Junior Accounts Clerk, Correspondence Clerk & Store Assistant:
(i) Probation period: 2 years
(ii) Consolidated Pay (for one year of probation): ₹9,200/month.
(After completing 1 year probation, you will start getting a full salary in pay level-5).

C. Junior Electrical Engineer (JEE - GTO):
(i) Probation period: 3 years
(ii) Consolidated Pay (for one year of probation): ₹25,900/month
(After completing 1 year probation, you will start getting a full salary in pay level-8).

D. Assistant Executive Engineer (GTO):
(i) Probation period: 3 years
(ii) Consolidated Pay (for one year of probation): ₹36,800/month
(After completing 1 year probation, you will start getting full salary in pay level-9).

SALARY:
A. Technician Grade III:

(i) Pay level: level-4 (5200-20200, 2400 GP)
(ii) Dearness Allowance: 50%
(iii) Gross Salary: ₹41,500 approx.
(iv) Net Salary: ₹36,000 approx.

B. Junior Accounts Clerk, Correspondence Clerk & Store Assistant:
(i) Pay level: level-5 (5200-20200, 2800 GP)
(ii) Dearness Allowance: 50%
(iii) Gross Salary: ₹46,500 approx.
(iv) Net Salary: ₹40,200 approx.

C. Junior Electrical Engineer (JEE - GTO):
(i) Pay level: level-8 (9300-34800, 4800 GP)
(ii) Dearness Allowance: 50%
(iii) Gross Salary: ₹76,500 approx.
(iv) Net Salary: ₹65,000 approx.

D. Assistant Executive Engineer (GTO):
(i) Pay level: level-9 (9300-34800, 5400 GP)
(ii) Dearness Allowance: 50%
(iii) Gross Salary: ₹88,000 approx.
(iv) Net Salary: ₹74,000 approx.

MODE OF SELECTION:
A. Technician Grade III:

Selection to the service will be made on the basis of the merit list prepared on the basis of marks scored in the single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT).
This CBT will contain questions from General Knowledge, General Hindi, Logical Reasoning, General English & Comprehension, Basic Knowledge of Computer, and Technical Paper (as per final year syllabus of ITI in Electrician Trade).
Minimum qualifying marks:
(a) UR: 40%
(b) BC: 36.5%
(c) EBC: 34%
(d) SC/ST/Female: 32%

B. Junior Accounts Clerk:
Selection to the service will be made on the basis of the merit list prepared on the basis of marks scored in the single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT).
This CBT will contain questions from General Knowledge, General Hindi, Logical Reasoning, General English & Comprehension, Basic Knowledge of Computer, and Commerce.
Minimum qualifying marks:
(a) UR: 40%
(b) BC: 36.5%
(c) EBC: 34%
(d) SC/ST/Female: 32%

C. Correspondence Clerk & Store Assistant:
Selection to the service will be made on the basis of the merit list prepared on the basis of marks scored in the single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT).
This CBT will contain questions from General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, General Hindi, Logical Reasoning, General English & Comprehension, and Basic Knowledge of Computer.
Minimum qualifying marks:
(a) UR: 40%
(b) BC: 36.5%
(c) EBC: 34%
(d) SC/ST/Female: 32%

D. Junior Electrical Engineer (JEE - GTO):
Selection to the service will be made on the basis of the merit list prepared on the basis of marks scored in the single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT).
This CBT will contain questions from General Knowledge, General Hindi, Logical Reasoning, General English & Comprehension, Basic Knowledge of Computer, and Technical Paper (as per syllabus of Diploma in Electrical/Electronics).
Minimum qualifying marks:
(a) UR: 40%
(b) BC: 36.5%
(c) EBC: 34%
(d) SC/ST/Female: 32%

E. Assistant Executive Engineer (GTO):
Selection will be made on the basis of "valid GATE score".
